Workdays are planned for the third Saturday of April and May every year.  These workdays enable us to get the camp ready for summer camp, and we need your help!  Call in advance to schedule a special project or show up and pick a work card to jump in on.  Lunch is provided for all volunteers!

Make a day of it with your Sunday school, family, youth group, men’s group, or women’s group…

Spend the morning working with us, get a free lunch, and enjoy South Mountain State Park for the afternoon!

Typical workday activities:

Clean gutters.

Paint.

Mow and weed eat.

Minor construction.

Electric work.

Landscaping.

Clean/Magic Erase walls and doors.

"Spring Cleaning" in all cabins.

Spring 2010 Projects:

Chapel Painting:  paint speaker stands dark brown, clean the corner of the 1&2 Bible Study room and paint white

Village Bathroom Construction:  Build new stall dividers between toilets.

Village Bathroom Painting:  Paint the showers.

Harris Fellowship Construction:  Install 3 new windows (if you can supply the windows, please call Caleb for sizes!)

Harris Fellowship Construction:  Repair or Replace clothesline

Harris Fellowship Construction:  Partially replace ceiling in one bathroom and bedroom.

Pleasant Brook Construction/Painting:  Repair ceiling and paint it.

Landscaping:  Repair/Manage flower beds at the Village.  This would be a great project for a few GA groups!

Chapel Minor Construction:  Build a mop station outside of the chapel for mop & mop bucket storage.

Sewing:  New curtains are needed in several cabins - let us know if you would rather do this project at home and we will send you measurements!

Bunkhouse Flooring:  Wray and #8 are in need of new flooring.

Maple Minor Construction:  new exterior door.

Trail Work:  Repair trail to dining hall from Village.

Lincoln Avenue Minor Construction:  Replace broken/missing porch pickets.

Road Work:  Seal cracks in pavement.
